After all those sunny posts I don’t want to put a damper on the proceeds by describing my rather washed out week – but then – the Ardennes is famous for its rainy weather.

At the beginning of the week I was pretty fed up at how long the recovery was taking but now  – at last – my leg feels as though it’s getting back to normal.

Back home and the op went well. I’m trying to walk more every day as the doctor said I should do so – even if it hurts. It does and I hate taking painkillers unless it’s really necessary.

So where has January gone to? It has just slipped by for me. Of course I owe everyone an apology for not posting and there are no excuses. It’s just been difficult to get on the computer without interruption.

I have to admire Claude for getting out and about despite the weather.
I was a real wimp this week and stayed indoors most of the time. To make matters worse, I often forgot to put my pedometer on first thing so my scores should actually be a bit better than this:
